As Seen on TV Gliding Discs

Feel like doing some spring cleaning? Want to clean those places you never move when you are sweeping or vacuuming? What to do? What to do? Should you hire a team of movers to help you with the spring cleaning? If you are rich enough to hire movers, you might as well hire a team of cleaners. If you are like me, you decide to think outside the box or maybe inside the box.
Suddenly, you remember an infomercial about Gliding Disks. The really thin, attractive people on the show were moving heavy furniture like the pieces were on rollers. They moved beds, bureaus, television sets, desks, and most anything in a house. These normal looking people were able to do just what you need. They could move everything with ease. Hello spring cleaning; good-by dirt.
You become obsessed with buying the As Seen on TV Gliding Discs. You finally order them on an Internet site which promises to them to you in a few days. A few weeks later you find the discs at a local retail store that carries As Seen on TV items. You are finally hooked up with the discs that are going to change your life.
Think again. The first problem after getting the discs out of the box is getting each individual disc under the piece of equipment. Ok, a desk has at least four legs. You have to lift up each leg of the desk to put the disc under it. Now desks are very heavy. When my husband and I finally got each disc under the desk, we were about dead. Then it was move the desk time. Strangely enough, the desk didn’t glide. It didn’t even move until we exerted enough effort to strain every muscle in our bodies. It was a heavy desk but it finally move about half a foot which was just enough to clean behind the desk. Then we got to move it back.
Needless to say we were not enamored with the As Seen on TV Gliding Discs. We did finish he spring cleaning, but my husband’s knees have never been the same. If you have a group and semi-heavy furniture and no carpet, you probably will have a better experience. Without he discs we would have not been able to move anything. My husband says that he would have been good with that.
